I've transferred from Barclays to Natwest and have to say it's a lot easier to use and can do more things. It does have one flaw. You can screenshot whilst in the app. It kinda defeats all the extra security features in place. Barclays wouldn't let you screenshot but didn't have the extra security of facial and voice recognition.

After the app stopped working after an update at their end I got intouch with them via Facebook. I spoke to various people as it went back and forth. I did things my end, and they did things there end. although it was very frustrating at the time the whole team tried very hard to resolve the issue, so they very much deserve 5 🌟 thank you 😊

A lot of features are put behind biometric approval, which I don't want to submit due to the associated privacy policy (this is different from your phones fingerprint login / face unlock, NatWest will not delete on request as it's "not biometric data"). Something as simple as adding a nickname to an account requires biometric approval... why...?

I'm trying to deposit a check using your check photo feature. I have a Samsung s21 ultra. The app is up-to-date. The camera distorts the frame such that the resulting viewfinder is wider than it is tall. The result is that the app says its invalid as it believes the proportions of the check are wrong. It's a Natwest check!! The app does not allow changing the camera lens. The app needs to fix its proportions. The developer replied with a link to generic Help info but failed to fix the app.

Ive just updated the app to the latest version, when I return to log in screen it prompts me to update the app so, I'm left in a loop after that.

Apparently you can use this app to deposit a check, that's news to me, put in value o check, take photo front and back as instructed, and ti says the numbers don't match, even through the check is correctly written and the numbers written on the check do match, got through to a support agent called Cora, who was unhelpful, and kept repeating the same questions over and over again which is incredibly rude and I found her to be offensive in the lack of ability to answer
